New project

The Community of Madrid supports Thinger.AIoT

Thinger.io has secured support from the Community of Madrid to accelerate the growth of innovative tech-based SMEs. This funding will specifically aid our scientific and technological project: Thinger.AIoT.

The grant recognises our dedication to driving industrial innovation and the impact our solutions bring to industry.

Thinger.AIoT

Pioneering intelligent digitalization in Industry 4.0

Thinger.AIoT aims to transform the industrial landscape by developing an open ecosystem for intelligent digitalization in Industry 4.0.

The initiative includes creating a universal and flexible IoT solution integrated with AI. It supports a wide range of sensors and industrial protocols, so that it interoperates across platforms.

Diagram of Thinger.AIoT. Data from industrial equipment and information systems, such as wind turbines and robot arms, enters three stages: collection, a generic hardware and software edge for industrial protocols such as OPC-UA, Modbus and EtherNet/IP; modeling, semi-supervised AI to integrate, analyse and represent assets and processes; and monitoring, real-time and historical visualization with no-code technology. Thinger.AIoT Edge runs the software directly on the edge, even without an internet connection. The results feed quality control, asset monitoring and predictive maintenance, in cloud or on-premises applications.
Collection, modeling and monitoring: industrial data enters through the edge, AI models the assets and processes, and the results feed quality control, asset monitoring and predictive maintenance, even with the edge running fully local.

Key objectives

Three lines of research

The project works on hardware, software and AI at the same time.

Hardware research

Developing multiprotocol, multisensor edge computing solutions to enhance connectivity and, with it, data collection capabilities.

Software research

Creating versatile software that bridges hardware solutions with IoT cloud services or local monitoring systems, which facilitates real-time data analysis and decision-making.

AI software research

Integrating advanced AI techniques such as deep neural networks (DNN), deep learning (DL), semi-supervised learning (SSL) and natural language processing (NLP) to manage and analyse heterogeneous sensor data effectively.

Looking ahead

A commitment to industrial digitalization

Thinger.io is committed to advancing industrial digitalization through research and development. The focus on AI-driven solutions is part of our aim to lead advances in Industry 4.0.
