For the last years, Web Summit has been the main technology event in Europe. Its 2018 edition took place in Lisbon, Portugal, as it had for the three years before.

From the archive: written in November 2018, a few days before the event. The stand at Web Summit is one of the 2018 milestones of the Thinger.io timeline, right after the second prize at the Vodafone IoT Future Hub.

Held annually since 2009, the conference is centred on Internet technology. It gathers the founders and CEOs of technology companies, fast-growing startups, policymakers and heads of state.

Thinger.io in Lisbon

An Alpha startup at Web Summit

Thanks to the prize won at the Vodafone IoT Future Hub, Thinger.io was selected as an Alpha startup.

The team attended Web Summit and was in Lisbon from 5 to 8 November, presenting the company as a Spanish startup and looking for connections, investors and developers. Attendees interested in the platform could meet the team at stand A637 during day 2, on 7 November.
