2What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage and session storage, keep small pieces of information in your browser in the same way. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of them. They can be:
- Session items (deleted when you close the browser tab or window), or

3How we use cookies (categories)
- Necessary (always active): required for the Website to work, to remember your cookie choice and to complete a purchase or a booking you start.
- Analytics (optional, only with your consent): help us understand how visitors use the Website so we can improve it.
We do not use advertising cookies on the Website.
No optional cookie is set, and no Google script is loaded, before you give your consent. The Website uses Google Consent Mode v2 in basic mode: until you accept analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are not loaded at all.
4Legal basis
- Necessary cookies: our legitimate interest in providing a secure, functional Website, and the performance of the purchase or booking you request.
- Analytics cookies: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
5Giving and withdrawing your consent
On your first visit, a banner lets you Accept all or Reject all, at the same level, or open the settings to choose by category. You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings, at the bottom of every page.
If you withdraw your consent to analytics, we delete the Google Analytics cookies already set and stop loading Google Tag Manager.
We keep your choice for 12 months. After that, or if this policy changes what is collected, we ask you again.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary items may stop parts of the Website, such as the checkout, from working.

7Third-party services
Some features of the Website load content from third parties, which may store information in your browser under their own policies:
- Cloudflare Turnstile: checks that a contact, booking or newsletter form is not being submitted by a bot. It loads only when you start filling in the contact or newsletter form, or when you reach the details step of a booking. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Stripe: the payment fields of the checkout. Stripe.js loads only on the payment step and sets the fraud prevention cookies listed above. Stripe's privacy policy.
- YouTube: videos embedded in some blog posts, in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play; from then on, YouTube may store information in your browser. Google's privacy policy.
- Google Maps: a map of our office on the About page, served by Google. It loads only if you click "Show map". Google's privacy policy.
8International transfers
Google, Stripe and Cloudflare may process data in the United States. They are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy apply. 9Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and the "Last updated" date will be updated. If a change affects what is collected, the banner asks for your consent again.
