Arvum: agronomy know-how delivered as a service

An agronomy firm whose growers across Spain and Morocco irrigate by soil profile data instead of habit, guided by Arvum's engineers through AG-ZOOM, the firm's own analysis platform.

Who they are

Agronomists first

Arvum Agriculture is a team of agronomic engineers with offices in Morocco and Spain. Their work is irrigation advice: telling each grower when to irrigate, how much water to apply and how well the last irrigation actually performed.

Whatever the service tier, the method is the same: agronomists on the ground, backed by live data from the plots.

The service

What their growers receive

Every monitored plot gets an irrigation point wired for agronomy, every well gets watched, and every recommendation lands on a dashboard the field teams can read. The sheet below redraws the widgets a grower opens in AG-ZOOM, Arvum's own analysis platform, where agronomists also compare parcels, varieties and whole farms side by side.

Dashboards are written in the working language of each team. The people who open the valves read the platform in the language they work in.

Results

What it means for their growers

Growers get an agronomy department without hiring one. The advice arrives in the field teams' own language, under the Arvum brand they contracted.

Arvum reports up to 30% reduction in water and fertiliser costs for its growers.

How AG-ZOOM is built

AG-ZOOM is a white label instance of Thinger.io on AWS: Arvum's domain, branding and users, with device management, data buckets, dashboards, alarms and endpoints underneath. Each farm or irrigation community is a project with its own team and permissions, so every client sees only their plots.

Field devices report over plain HTTP, and the two agronomic widgets are custom developments next to the standard charts. Taking on a new farm means creating a project and provisioning its devices, not building software.

Soil probes at three depths, well piezometers and weather stations report over HTTP to AG-ZOOM, Arvum's white label console, running on a dedicated Thinger.io instance for its field teams and agronomists.

Build your own branded platform

AG-ZOOM is one white label deployment of Thinger.io. If you want to run a precision irrigation service, or any IoT service, under your own brand, we can help you get there.
